Exploring Naples: From the Lungomare to Posillipo<\/h2>\nYour Naples adventure begins with a breathtaking view of the sea. We suggest starting your walk along the seafront, starting at the Parthenope Siren Fountain<\/b> in Piazza Sannazzaro, just a 4-minute walk from Ad Maiora Boutique Home. Follow Naples’ famous seafront towards Castel dell’Ovo, a journey of about 2.5 km that you can complete on foot, by bike, on an electric scooter, or even aboard a characteristic “rickshaw.” If you prefer, you can stop halfway at the Villa Comunale<\/b>, where you can enjoy the sea view and the tranquility of the park.\n\nAlong the way, both towards Castel dell’Ovo and Posillipo, you’ll find a wide selection of bars and restaurants, especially renowned for their pizza and seafood specialties. If you’re craving a dessert, don’t miss the historic Chalet Ciro<\/b>, famous for its “graffe” (fried doughnuts), which you can enjoy just steps from the sea.\n

Getting Around and History<\/h3>\nTo explore the rest of the city, just 700 meters away is the Mergellina Station<\/b>. This imposing Art Nouveau building, constructed in the early 20th century, is a historic landmark. Its inauguration in 1925 connected this area to the center of Naples (National Museum, historic center) and the Phlegraean Fields, as well as other famous destinations in Campania, such as Caserta and Pompeii. Nearby, you’ll also find Porto Sannazzaro<\/b>, where ferries depart for wonderful destinations like Ischia and the Aeolian Islands.\n\nAnother unmissable stop is the tomb of Giacomo Leopardi<\/b>, located in the Parco Vergiliano, behind the Church of Piedigrotta. Inside the park, you’ll also find the alleged tomb of Virgil and the evocative Crypta Neapolitana<\/b>, a tunnel dug into the tuff rock dating back to the 1st century BC. Parco Vergiliano is just a 5-minute walk from Ad Maiora Boutique Home.\n

Relax on the Beach<\/h3>\nIf you’re looking for a bit of refreshment, the area offers several options for swimming. Continuing along the seafront after breakfast in one of the many chalets, about a 15-minute walk will take you to the Posillipo hill. Here, charming beach resorts await you, such as Bagni Elena<\/b> and Bagni Ideal<\/b>, as well as the Monache municipal beach.
